MADE FROM SCRATCH — Dumplings are a ritual, and while we understand that not everyone has the time, space, or desire to regularly practice that ritual, we at Laoban Dumplings have the time, the space, and the desire. We make all our dumplings from scratch, allowing you to develop whichever rituals you most enjoy. Keep frozen. Do not thaw prior to cooking.
STEAMED COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Bring water to a rolling point, line steamer with parchment paper or cabbage. Place dumplings on steamer and steam for 12 minutes. BOILED COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: (Do not boil Pork Soup Dumplings) Bring water to a rolling boil. Add dumplings to water and boil for 8 min, or until dumplings bob to the top.
PAN-FRIED COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan over medium-high heat. 2. Place dumplings in pan. 3. Add enough water to just cover the bottom of the pan, cover and cook for 5 minutes. 4. Remove cover and keep cooking until water evaporates and bottoms are brown, about 5 more minutes.
